About Me:
As I gain new experiences every single day I maintain my core values of integrity, resilience, and confidence. Though I do not know what the future holds, I will face every opportunity with my absolute best resolve. This is how I have secured successes like being a key speaker in a national convention, achieving free tuition through scholarships, this profound program, and many more to come. Keeping a well-rounded lifestyle is key to success, which is why I enjoy lifting, running, playing my instrument, and cooking. I plan to build upon each one of my successes in order to build an influential career and bless others around me.

Why are you passionate about aviation?
I have always been fascinated by aviation; specifically, the aircraft, not only their intricate systems but also their design in order to sustain graceful flight. However, I made the decision to pursue a career in aviation when I witnessed my brother achieve a successful career and lifestyle as a helicopter engineer and technician in the U.S. Marine Corp. I saw him attain not only financial freedom but also happiness. I knew that was what I wanted for my future.

Why did you choose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT and how did you hear about the program?
I chose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT because it exemplified qualities I resonated with. Their commitment to honoring the Tuskegee Airmen and uplifting underprivileged youth shows their genuine compassion and leadership. I heard about the program when they visited Salem Baptist Church of Chicago and spoke of their mission. When I heard an alumni speak of how this program shaped her along with how it touched her and her family in unimaginable ways, I understood that this was something special.

What are your future aviation aspirations?
I am committed to becoming an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Pilot in the private sector. After this is accomplished, I plan to establish a private aviation company with my brother.

Fun Fact:
I have played alto saxophone since I was 10 years old, performing at my church, stadiums, and all-around Chicago.
