About Me
When I was young I never even knew I wanted to be a pilot until one day I looked up in the sky and decided to take a chance. I haven't had any regrets since that day. Although my dreams before involve art and creativity now they involve passion and flying. I love soaring the sky and hope to make this my profession by becoming an airline pilot.
Why are you passionate about aviation?
I first fell in love with aviation because it helped guide me during a hard time in my life. However now I love the flying of being able to ground and having a clear goal. My goal is to become one of the very few African American women pilots in America.
Why did you choose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT and how did you hear about the program?
I discovered Tuskegee NEXT through my own personal research but through reaching out and meeting people I learned about how huge of an opportunity it was.
What are your future aviation aspirations?
I hope to become a Captain pilot at Southwest Airlines. Therefore joining the less than 10 Black Women pilots at Southwest.
Fun Fact:
I may look small but I have a bit appetite and have eaten 5 bowls of ramen before.
